doreen

Doreen Kramer "Doreen's philosophy to teaching yoga grows from her activist heart and background working with community organizations. She firmly believes that the reality of social justice is manifested through the holistic health, wellness and evolution of individuals from all communities. Doreen's yoga class is an opportunity for people to experience and learn the pillars of Forrest Yoga: breath, strength, integrity and spirit. These are gifts for living full and free lives. As her student you will receive compassionate teaching, intelligent cues for safety, personal attention, and quality hands-on assistance. Doreen is committed to teaching classes that honor all students at any level, and that enhance personal healing, empowerment and liberation through the power of community. Doreen holds a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences from NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Studies where she concentrated in sociology, women's studies and dance. She has taught Vinyasa yoga, is trained in Forrest Yoga, studies and performs Afro Carribbean and modern dance forms. She is eager to learn from her students and to share, with love, the teachings that have most transformed her own life. "
